Dramatic Red Ash
This clear grade Ash floor has a vibrant blast of rich color and texture added. Our crafting techniques, including wire brushing and custom sanding really showcase the grain in this one-of-a-kind floor. The dynamic custom staining, accent color application and overall surface texture work cohesively to produce this eye-catching floor. This Rehmeyer Extreme Custom floor was designed for a Manhattan loft but we’ve also created similar floors in an array of exciting colors for homes, retail stores and restaurants.
Custom Red Oak
Custom Red Oak with an exclusive Rehmeyer Process that includes a special heat treatment and a custom finish with hand rubbed tung oil. This unique process not only adds beauty to the wood, but also significantly inhibits insect damage and rotting.
Ofram
Just one of the exotic woods we’ve used upon request, Ofram is a sustainable African hardwood that has a fairly straight grain pattern and features natural worm holes and other small character marks. Its pale background color gives way to ‘veins’ of darker grain that run throughout. This floor was also finished with Tung Oil to enhance the beauty of the wood and to add the ability to spot repair if needed.
Extreme Wide Plank White Oak
A unique White Oak floor that was a mix of Plain Sawn and Rift & QuarterSawn lumber and was milled in 12” to 15” widths to showcase the client’s enormous great room. Due to the extremely wide plank sizes, the custom lengths were 5 to 12 feet for maximum eye appeal. This floor was sanded and finished on-site with Tung Oil to add an amber toned hue and an overall warmth to the space.
Ash – French Country Styling
Random-width Ash floor with a “French Country” finish that resembles a gently worn painted floor. Although it looks old, this precision milled solid hardwood floor is made from new lumber and boasts a very reilient Greenguard™ topcoat. We’ve also milled this floor with a French Blue finish as well.
Reclaimed Heart Pine
Reclaimed (Antique) Wide Plank Heart Pine flooring featuring a custom dark stain that highlights the natural grain of this sought after wood by using customized sanding techniques and finished with Tung Oil.
Pin–Striped Walnut with Hard Maple Feature Strip
Our gorgeous wide plank unsteamed Walnut flooring is shown here in random widths that are accented by using a 1” Hard Maple Feature Strip for contrast. This was used in a nautical themed room and the flooring was custom finished with Tung Oil.
Cherry Wire-Brushed, Weathered Blue, Tung Oil Finish
This Cherry hardwood is wire brushed, weathered blue and top coated with a Waterlox Tung oil finish.
