They also apply accent color, sand, and scrape, using our own time-tested method that will give you floors that look and feel as if they have a history.

While some do opt for reclaimed barn wood or other truly aged lumber for their Extreme Custom floors, when you place an order for our hand-scraped flooring, the product you receive will have been handled by skilled craftsmen multiple times. The result will be a far cry from the repetitive markings you see on manufactured wood floors. Particularly with our Authentic Hand Scraped Collection, you can be assured that no power tools have been used in the scraping process. When we use the word “authentic,” we mean it: Your floor will be scraped by skilled human hands one board at a time.
